Nike SB Dunk Hi 'Owl' 2009!

Me: Somebody said you sound like an Owl...
You: Really? Who?

Me: (Silence)...

You: WHO? WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO?
Hah!

Anyway, weird inspiration, waiting for full story.
Materials / Colorway are on point.
Definite Cop in my book :)!

Purple Denim Dunk Low SB

Interesting Lakers colorway with a twist of denim material! The insole graphic is pretty cool, although baggy shorts that look like a dress is so 1990s. Coming soon!

Sparks Will Fly... Or Not.

Here are some new Supreme Dunk Hi's from Nike, called the "Spark Pack".
These bad boys will be releasing soon at Atmos. Not sure where else, seem like a Tier-0 release.
I like the fade, but I need more colors to rock! Plus, the red ones remind me too much of the ET Kuwahura SB Dunks.

Giggity Giggity Goo-ing To A Foot Near You!

Hideous!
... These are just samples, and I hope they stay that way. It's not the official inspiration yet, but the colors are too similar for us not to see the connection.
Is Nike still running out of ideas? Bring it back!

Blanka Isn't The Only Cool Thing To Come From Brazil!

Brazil has their own set of releases when it comes to Nike SB sneakers, and they focus mainly on dunks. Many of these are sought after, with the Miami EMB's being the most popular. The third Brazil Custom Series is set to release November 13th with three brand new Dunk lows. The inspiration behind these designs is Music (headphones, walkman, cassette tape). Each pair will be limited to 480, better start saving up!
I really like the purple/black colorway, I think I may have to try to get them.
Each pair will also have a matching T-shirt to go with them.

Being Married To The Mob Does Have Benefits!

Here we have a collaboration between Married To The Mob and Nike, recently MTTM and Reebok got together for a shoe, but I think these Dunks take the cake. With Woven material and a hint of patent leather, they definitely do stand out as unique, yet the colorway is so simple. The gold "MOB" emblem is also a nice touch.
I believe these are for ladies only, and will release only at Tier-0 accounts. So that means these will be pretty limited. Some shops in NY that have Tier-0 are Nort/Recon, Alife/Rivington Club, and Dave's Quality Meats. Slated for a Mid November Release.

I'm glad that the ladies are getting some exclusive love too!

Nike <3's Neon... So Do We!

I like the shoe, but hate the laces! Suede and patent leather = cool!
These will be out soon in the U.S :)
They do remind me of the Clark Kent 112 Pack that was recently released.

Nike Dunk SB Low 'Gold Rail'

Upcoming Dunk Low nicknamed 'Gold Rail', inspired by the Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. Definitely does not give off that "Gold" look, but still pretty nice colorway. I wish one of the blue was darker to give it more contrast. Rumors say this will only release in Melbourne, but others are saying it is coming to the states! We'll see come October.
I love blue, but i'm not sure how I feel about these, must see in person! More suede!

Nike SB x De La Soul Dunk Low

These were samples created back in 2006, and were scrapped. Rumors are saying that they will be released in 2009. This will be the third De La Soul collabo with Nike. Based off of their AOI: Bionix album cover, these sure look like space kicks. Just throw some purple laces on them and you'll have Dino jr's jr! I think i'd rock these, shiny as hell! They will be my ghetto Medicom 3's until I can cop those.

The Only Reason To Visit Argentina.

Oh my god, a Nike Dunk slide! What a dream come true! Too bad this is located in Argentina. Looks like a really cool display of public art, and taking over the stairway is genius! The kid even has matching shoes! Who wants to go? haha.

More Byte Than You Can Handle!

Nike Sportswear is definitely generating lots of buzz, especially with their recent block party and flagship store launch in SOHO. And now they bring to us this tiny cute little USB drive modeled after the Dunk. No word on how large the capacity is, but it will definitely be a collector's item. I wonder how much it'll cost! The material looks like a gummy candy, parents should be careful, the toddlers might just take a bite out of this one!

Shoes Shoes Shoes!

These are just SAMPLES for Spring '09, they may never even make it past the factory for mass production, but we can all wish right? I am feeling the 'Joker' lows, and maybe the gold / red colorway. The mids are decent, rumors are calling this the 'Charlie Browns' (or possibly a high top Homer?. We shall see! What do you think?

Beautiful Losers X Nike Dunk Hi

These dunks were created by Jesse Leyva, who works for Nike Sportswear. Inspired from the upcoming "Beautiful Losers" documentary, which is based on art, culture, hip hop, skateboarding + More! With screenings happening in NYC / LA this weekend, they will be hosting youth mentoring workshops and these shoes will be auctioned off at them, with proceeds going to Children's Aid Society. Only 22 pairs of each style were created, so these are basically hyper-strikes if you were to categorize them. Each shoe takes on a meaningful image still in the documentary. I love when Nike does collaborations that actually have a good cause for it. Good luck getting your pair!
