FREE PINKBERRY = <3 !

If you love pinkberry as much as i do, you'll easily give this a ride!

Ok here is the deal, If you are on the pinkberry email list, they sent a survey out, and after completing a few questions, they ask for your address to send you a pinkberry gift card (not verified yet, but why wouldn't they?)
The thing is, each link sent out to every e-mail is unique, meaning you cannot use the link more than once. But all you need to do is change the ending 5 digit Reference ID (RID) and I tested the RANGE that you may randomly use to access the survey.

http://web2.kinesissurvey.com/onlinecom/html.pro?id=177&rid=25226
That is the URL. BUT change the last 5 digits to anything between 22583 and 27697

so for example: my original link was http://web2.kinesissurvey.com/onlinecom/html.pro?id=177&rid=25226
if you try this link, it should say "you have already completed the survey" now just change the "25226" to a combo between the ones listed above, and try again until you find one that says "Resume survey" or "Welcome"

and.. VOILA ! let me know if you have questions..

PS: Try NOT to take the survey multiple times, unless you are using a different address / name to avoid them shutting this down!

Black Lights Are Fun Again!

Wow... Simply amazing, what a fantastic and clever routine involving black lighting. I've seen the combination of black lights with white used before, but none like this. This just takes it to a whole new level, just imagine the possibilities and the doors opened by this group showing what can be done with a low budget. I especially enjoyed the animated laughing face display, that was awesome. I wish I could be a part of a routine like this!

Don't Let Jealousy Ruin Your Life!

Are you the envious type? Has jealousy ruined happy moments in your life? Are you the type to give the silent treatment or accuse with sarcastic remarks? I am, at least to one of those listed. Jealousy is a very strong emotion that can destroy relationships. How do you handle this matter? I must admit, now that I think back on all the times where I was jealous over something, I would suddenly become non-social and say things in a tone of voice i'd never use normally. All this must change, if it doesn't, it will lead to a very unhealthy habit and ultimately, I will suffer the consequences. I read a brief Wiki on ways to stop being jealous, and it makes alot of sense. I think I will attempt to satisfy these goals. I suggest anyone who has these same feelings to give this a read. 5 minutes of your time can save you a relationship that may last a lifetime...
In the words of One Republic: It's too late to apologize.

Here is an excerpt to entice you to read more:
Bite your tongue. When you feel jealousy taking over, don't react in a destructive way. Don't accuse, don't give the silent treatment, don't roll your eyes, and don't show any signs of displeasure. Try to do the opposite of what a jealous person would do. If a friend is going to spend time with someone else, for example, recommend a good movie or restaurant. If your partner is talking to someone else, leave them be. Do what a completely trusting person would do in your shoes, even if it makes you feel crazy. Jealous behavior can bring any kind of relationship to its knees, so nip it in the bud.

The Only Reason To Visit Argentina.

Oh my god, a Nike Dunk slide! What a dream come true! Too bad this is located in Argentina. Looks like a really cool display of public art, and taking over the stairway is genius! The kid even has matching shoes! Who wants to go? haha.

Street Fighter IV Makes Me Want To Be A Kid Again!

Finally, this highly anticipated 2-D fighter is in NYC! Located on Mott St. in Chinatown, this famous arcade is known for breeding pro's in the fighting game arena. Be sure to bring your A-Game when playing here, they do not go easy on you. Street Fighter IV will cost $1 to play, and currently, you have to sign up on a list when you get there to get in queue to play. Looks like the game is on the Japanese style 2 monitor / sit down gameplay. I am most likely going to go spectate, I don't want to get pwned. Hopefully this game will become more available throughout NY. Will SF IV bring the golden days of 2-D competitive gaming back? I sure hope so...

More Byte Than You Can Handle!

Nike Sportswear is definitely generating lots of buzz, especially with their recent block party and flagship store launch in SOHO. And now they bring to us this tiny cute little USB drive modeled after the Dunk. No word on how large the capacity is, but it will definitely be a collector's item. I wonder how much it'll cost! The material looks like a gummy candy, parents should be careful, the toddlers might just take a bite out of this one!

Flip-Seats Actually Intended To Make You Stand!

The M.T.A is planning on implementing "flip-up" seats for our crazy packed rush-hour subways. Following the success of Tokyo's overcrowding control, experts say up to 18% more people can fit into the packed cars if the seats were flipped up, but what if we want to sit? I am still quite confused about the logic, will everyone actually sacrifice their seats to make more room for people to come onto the already packed train? I think not! They are planning to only have a few train cars out of the chain to have these flip-seats, let's just see how this works.
Hey M.T.A, if you are reading this, just ADD more trains and improve traffic control!

This is what I think when I hear Flip Seats!

To Succeed In Life: Look Good.

Remember that cute little face that you saw Friday night? Well, that's just it, she's cute and she can't sing. The girl on the right is the actual voice / talent of the opening ceremony anthem sung during the Olympics. Apparently she was not "cute" enough to be shown in front of the world, who we assume is so shallow. I think it's pretty messed up, this was an order a high ranking official. I am glad that they came out with the truth, because the actual singer has talent and that should be known to the world. It's not about looking good dammit! China is trying to aim for perfection... and the truth reveals. Maybe I don't feel so bad about Spain's racist advertisement now, because everyone is doing awful things. What else is China hiding? First was the fake fireworks that were created for on screen only, now this lip-synching fiasco. Where does it end?

Goodbye Montauk... Hello Bigfoot!

Lol...The infamous Bigfoot has been discovered in Georgia by a company called "Searching For Bigfoot." Their website seems pretty crappy, so i'm iffy about the whole "press release" happening on friday. They will announce more details and DNA tests to prove that it is the real deal. What's with all these monsters popping up so suddenly?
Here is an image of the beast in a freezer capsule.

Ignorance Is Bliss...

This just pisses me off, especially since I am Chinese. On the front page of the Spain's best-selling newspaper, is this racist advertisement. It's Spain's Olympic basketball team posing with their fingers pulling the skin near the eyes back.... Hmm, I wonder who they are mocking? Not a good look, especially since China is hosting the whole thing, what's with the dragon on the ground anyway?
Apparently no one involved with this racist photo thought it was inappropriate or would offend anyone. I really wish China didn't lose to Spain in the basketball game last night.
So much for "One World"..
Maybe this is all Karma...

Lightning Slow!

Simply amazing, mother nature is one of the purest forms of art! I love how it just trickles down the sky onto the ground. This was filmed using a slow motion feature on a digital camera, which is becoming more and more popular these days. I love it!

Beautiful Losers X Nike Dunk Hi

These dunks were created by Jesse Leyva, who works for Nike Sportswear. Inspired from the upcoming "Beautiful Losers" documentary, which is based on art, culture, hip hop, skateboarding + More! With screenings happening in NYC / LA this weekend, they will be hosting youth mentoring workshops and these shoes will be auctioned off at them, with proceeds going to Children's Aid Society. Only 22 pairs of each style were created, so these are basically hyper-strikes if you were to categorize them. Each shoe takes on a meaningful image still in the documentary. I love when Nike does collaborations that actually have a good cause for it. Good luck getting your pair!

THE SECRET'S OUT: From The Outside Looking In!

When out on the job market interviewing and researching, we look up the companies and read about them, which ultimately helps us make a decision in choosing the right employer. What we really want to know is the insider's perspective, especially the pros and cons, along with the salary information. Well this is exactly what Glassdoor provides, an inside look through the private walls of corporate giants. While this may come in handy only for more popular employers, you never know what you may find.
Similar to Vault, they provide information written anonymously about their current or former employer, as well as how much the position is paid. The great thing about Glassdoor is that it's FREE, in terms of monetary amount anyway. You have to sign up to be able to access the information, but to fit the criteria, you have to share one review about your past or present job, and also your salary range. Although you can lie and fill it up with BS, you'd only be helping other people who are interested in your company or position. I posted information about Starbucks, my previous employer, which already has many reviews and such.
This is still in beta, they only been around since 2007. But as they keep growing and more companies get listed, I believe this will become a very useful tool for those on the hunt for work. Keep it bookmarked, and visit often to check for new reviews on your prospective employers! Make sure to contribute :)

Here are some screenshots I took so you can see what it looks like.
